Media Sussex Ltd operate with a Privacy Policy (see below) and a Terms & Conditions of Work (here). Media Sussex Ltd (“we”, “us”) agrees to provide design, marketing, and digital services to the client (“you”) as described in the agreed proposal, quote, or project outline.
We provide services as an independent contractor. Nothing in our agreement creates an employer/employee relationship.
Work is billed at the rates stated in the proposal, or as otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices are issued weekly and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date (unless otherwise stated on the invoice).
Late payment may result in suspension of services and interest may be charged at the statutory rate.
Any agreed out-of-pocket expenses (e.g. travel, accommodation, materials, third-party costs) will be billed in addition to fees.
You retain ownership of your existing content and brand assets.
We retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, templates, or code used to deliver the project.
We retain the right to use non-confidential work in part or in full as portfolio items.
Final creative deliverables transfer to you upon full payment, except where otherwise stated.
Both parties agree to keep each other’s confidential information private and not to disclose it to third parties without consent, except as required by law.
We will deliver work to a professional standard but are not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from use of the work produced. Total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the work in question.
All responsibility and liability for the subject matter, claims, or opinions expressed within any materials we create or publish on your behalf remains with you, the client. You are solely responsible for ensuring that content complies with applicable laws and regulations and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
You agree to provide timely feedback, approvals, and access to content and systems required to complete the work.
Either party may end the engagement with 30 days’ written notice. Work completed to date will be invoiced and payable.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, even when our work is used outside of the United Kingdom.
This website is not designed to track and store your information. We do not allow comments or user posting and we do not ask for your data or personal information.
We offer our services to anyone over the age of 16. This is not because our content is not suitable for under 16’s but rather a legal requirement in the EU and UK to request permission from a parent or guardian. For this reason, under 16’s may not use this website.

Media Sussex is part of a family of businesses called HeartCo. HeartCo Ltd is a non-trading company that covers our individual businesses in name only. It’s a little un-conventional, but it’s how our group of family businesses work. So if you have an email from HeartCo, it’s nothing to worry about. It’s purely a branding thing.
